Fortunately their page is not my startup page. I use in my full browser, if ATT thinks I'm going to use a page plastered with ads, then IMO their page is not worth using. That's what leads me to believe the ATT site is sensitive to the browser being used.Īs for the ad blockers, etc. I tried using a clean profile in Firefox (like using FF for the very first time) and even that required me to sign in upon a relaunch. I have addons controlling all these things. In looking into this a little I think it not only has to do with which browser you use, but if your have your browser remembering cookies, using javascript blockers, and ad blockers. In the case here I have the same problem as you with Firefox, but not with Chrome. Just faking Yahoo into thinking I was using Safari. I use Firefox and a while back when looking at a stock the videos would only play for 8 seconds! I changed my user agent to make the site think I was using, of all things, Safari if memory serves, and the videos played! No other changes to my browser. I've seen this a few months ago with Yahoo's Finance pages. But IMO its a poorly coded web page and IMO doesn't work properly with all browsers.
